Oh man, I do not even know what to make of this. MORE PUZZLING THAN LOST. I also feel real bad for the one-eyed cat. D'awww. Presumably those little Babybel things are excreted from the sort of third-eye tube on the top of the statue's head?
It's always funny to realize that a thing that is such a part of French culture is also known outside of our borders. Of course if one of our cheese is going to be known internationally, it'd have to be the less stinky and the more industrial one...
Anyway, here's a little story about it :
In the 60's, when the design was slightly different, someone realized that by cutting out the box a certain way, a caricature of the general De Gaulle would appear :

I can never write proper comments on your posts because I'm always scrolling back up to stare at the artwork, augh! I love it so much, there's always so much to discover about what you've drawn.
Thanks, Mike. The cow is the apron-wearing bovine mascot of Borden milk, Elsie the Cow, she's been around since the 40's and according to their website is one of the top ten advertising icons of all time (I don't know how true that is). It's the symbol for female domestication so I thought it would be sort of funny to have that in world of violent, anarchist barbarian women.
Thanks so much for the nice comments, they are like the winds of kindness for my artistic turbine.
Actually the last few pictures I did was supposed to be for sketch book for a sci-fi convention that was supposed to be held here in Vancouver, but it got cancelled, so i'm just posting what I finished for it here.
But, maybe I'll still put it together as soon as I have some more images.

It's Elsie the Cow! Wow, I gotta say that aged statue is really well drawn.
Just like EVERYONE else, I too would enjoy a delux-hardcover edition of Battle Kats and Bitches...so stop making us beg! You've already pre-sold them to us.
(Well, at the very least to me, cause I love your drawing so much--the line-work, the gestures, the compositions....SWOON!)

I've been thinking about what I wanted to say about this one, but I don't have the words. And to think how many have been wasted on that hump Picasso. "Guernica" is stick figures having a bad day. This here's your masterpiece. How the hell did you make battle kitties zen? There's an awesome serenity to this piece; the entire composition is blow away, but somehow the shadow coming off the sainted heifer's top ear just sells the whole thing. And I'm so dumb I didn't even get the joke originally. I just thought you were giving a nod to some eastern mysticism... and IS that a third eye Bessy's sporting? It's seen deep into me. A lick of divine flame has alighted on my head in the form of fat chicks sitting on their fat pussies! You sweet little THING!! You titanic LUNATIC!!!
