I love this! So much fun with the clever combos! And the artwork is colorful and playful. All in all its tons of fun :)
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 03:55 am (UTC)
Thanks, it was a lot of fun to do... a little TOO much fun:)

Hahaha, that is awesome. So many great puns, and lovely art.
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:39 am (UTC)
Thanks so much! Puns ARE the easiest form of humour.

lol The piccalopossum is like: "ALLL RIIIIGHT"
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:43 am (UTC)
I based it's expression on your perverse grimace you get when you let a sputtering blapper go and make me smell it. Art imitating life.
dandanwarning on March 4th, 2010 04:49 am (UTC)
holy awesome! i love the narrator's little heiney in the gorilla spot!
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:45 am (UTC)

Ha ha ha, the best! Man, great word play.
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:48 am (UTC)
Thanks Tony! Yeah, I like to throw the pig-skin around with words once in awhile, you have to be careful though, they play rough.

A good old fashioned rhymer!

This is an entertaining group of critters!
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:51 am (UTC)
Thanks! Those critters should form a band.
Ragani: Pen-Hey!ragani on March 4th, 2010 05:41 am (UTC)
Another winner. When are you going to start putting these together for a kids book? These need to be in print in a book with big pages.
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:52 am (UTC)
Yeah, and with fuzzy felt bits and scratch-and-sniff, who wouldn't want to smell that big ol' bucket of fish?

watercolor pencils? what medium? those colors are so fab they are actually imprinting on my retinas. The rest of my life will be seen through a Rebecca Dart drawing...and you know, i'm alright with that.
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:55 am (UTC)
Prismacolor pencils for the lines and acrylic inks for the colours. Sorry about your retinas.

Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:28 pm (UTC)
Thanks! That means a lot coming from the 'cool colour master' that you are.
Sydneycatsydneycat on March 4th, 2010 02:07 pm (UTC)
This is wonderful! It would make a great kid's book! (And by that I mean one of those kids books that adults buy more of for themselves than for the kids they know.)
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:29 pm (UTC)
Yeah, that seems to be the trend, maybe they should just call them "emotionally-immature adult" books.
Hugosersugg on March 4th, 2010 04:05 pm (UTC)
I was wondering where you'd gone off to---apparently, the land of insanely beautiful art! These are amazinnnnggg!
Rebecca Dartr_dart on March 4th, 2010 09:33 pm (UTC)
Thanks! Yeah, I've been reclusive lately, between being busy, sick and the Olympics there wasn't much time, but I'm back now.
mike_myhremike_myhre on March 4th, 2010 05:12 pm (UTC)

you come up with amazing and very charming ideas, miss =) this was a lot of fun to read and to just study the details of the designs [seriously, the thereminnow is the best thing ever!]. i love your use of color here and your handwriting fits well with this whole concept!
James Lloydpuddingsock on March 8th, 2010 07:44 am (UTC)
Oh, she's in the stink again. I can't believe you got this out around your OTHER comic work. This is just so pure, so completely what it should be, it generates a little warm ember in a very dark place. If I still existed, I'd find it totally inspiring.
